Thanksgiving 09

I love Thanksgiving! I love the food, the family, the time refecting on all God's blessings, ect. Our Thanksgiving began on Wednesday with the Versts, then Thursday with the Zimmers, then a fun filled weekend at the cabin. I think I have eaten my way through the last couple days!

Deals

A lot of people have been asking me where I find all my money-saving deals. In Feburary I took a couponing class and I have since become addicted to saving money and finding great deals! I have about 6-7 blogs that I visit to see what deals are going on. I have all these blogs organized as a blog list on my other blog http://couponsandsuch.blogspot.com/. For my grocery shopping adventures I usually go to mommysnacks.net. If you ever have questions you can email me or call or whatever. I just love saving God's money, so that I am not spending it on things that I could get cheaper and instead can invest it in His Kingdom!

Happy Halloween '09

Halloween this year was a blast...but how could it not be when I am using my kid to get free candy!! We went out with my sister this year, she lives in a huge neighborhood and they had a bonfire afterward. I have always loved this time of the year, but I have to say, with kids it is so much more fun! I think my family is a little over my fasination with the new camera though...hehehe...oh well!

It is such a BEAUTIFUL Fall day plus my new camera plus two awesome kids and thier great dad....had to take more pics! That should do it for posting today!

I am still figuring out all the neat tricks and buttons and dials to the camera. It is hard to take a nice picture of a fall day with a two year old holding a baby. Makes for funny shots though.

New Camera!

I just bought new camera!! I have been wanting a nice camera for a little over a year, and I finally found one that was a really great deal! It is a Nikon D40 and it is the only "thing" that I have ever felt good about buying. I am pretty (ok REALLY) cheap and never spend money, when I do (or we as a family do) I usually get all nervous and anxious and have buyers remorse. However, I am so proud of this deal and how long I waited and all the money that I have saved using coupons and getting free deals online, that I am letting myself be very excited about this purchase. So here are some practice shots! I am super pumped!!
